i am Passionate about keeping your horse feeling their best as an integral part of your team

Delving into all the aspects of preventative care, maintenance, and injury rehabilitation for the equine athlete, I have been fortunate enough to learn and train with amazing practitioners all over the United States.

I grew up in Massachusetts riding at elite hunter jumper barns until opening my own private stable and riding program, where I instructed students in Massachusetts as well as Wellington, Florida. During my years of teaching at advanced levels, I realized that my passion aligned more in the care and rehabilitation of the sport horse as well as injury prevention and preventative care. Not long after, I took a position at the Ocala Equine Hospital in Ocala, Florida, where their focus is lameness and surgery on all breeds of competitive horses.

After leaving Ocala, I received immeasurable education and experience working at Performance Equine Vets in Aiken, South Carolina, with veterinarian and owner Dr. Sabrina Jacobs. Over the course of 10 years, I was the hospital manager also overseeing the reproduction department, the NICU, and the surgical department, and I collaborated with the lameness center on rehabilitation for both inpatient and outpatient clients.

Spending many years watching horses move, work, recover, and push themselves to their maximum, I have continued my fascination with non-invasive treatment of the equine athlete, as well as preventative care. My passion for helping horses achieve their best in the most comfortable way possible drives me to work as a key member of your team. Truly, I want to see you and your horse succeed! I created Capall to bring clients the best methods and products possible. Not only am I constantly adding new technology, I am adding knowledge to prevent, fix, and facilitate maximum levels of comfort to allow you to maintain your needs and achieve your goals.

Hey, everyone! My name is Kayla McLean and I am from Holly Hill, South Carolina. I have been around horses my entire life and have enjoyed educating myself and furthering my career as a barrel racer throughout the years. In my years of competing I have been honored with many Titles, including NBHA SC04 1D Youth Champion, NBHA SC04 2D Youth Champion, NBHA SC04 2D Open Champion, NBHA SC04 5D Youth Champion, and SCYBRA Rodeo Queen. I am so blessed to have my horses and to have this opportunity to chase a childhood dream. I want to take all measures possible to ensure that every horse reaches their highest potential. I love the results that come with seeing how great I can make a horse feel, and that’s why I joined the Capall team. As a current competitor, I understand how important it is for our horses to feel their best, and that’s why I make them my first priority!
